"Omni Consulting Care Center of Detroit, Michigan, opened a ventilator unit in April 2003. We chose the LTV Series ventilator because of its light weight and unique compact styling. We were also very impressed with the weaning capabilities that the LTV offered.

One patient, a 52 year-old construction worker and father of a nine-year-old son, was one of our first clients. Although the patient was ventilator dependent, we were able to wean him from mechanical ventilation. The LTV weaning capability and portability was the catalyst that the patient needed to gain confidence and regain his independence. He will soon be going home without the need for mechanical ventilation or a tracheostomy tube thanks to the staff at Omni and the LTV."
