Pulmonetic Systems Recipient of American Association for Respiratory Care Zenith Award
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Pulmonetic Systems, Inc., the LTV® Series ventilator manufacturer, has announced that it is a recipient of the prestigious American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) 2004 Zenith Award. This award, which acknowledges excellence in product quality and customer support as recognized by clinicians directly, was presented to the company on December 4, 2004, during the AARC’s 50th International Respiratory Congress in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is the second time the company has received the Zenith Award.
AARC members were asked through the association's monthly magazine, AARC Times, to select five companies to receive the Zenith Award, based on the following criteria: quality of equipment and/or supplies, accessibility and helpfulness of sales personnel, responsiveness, service record, truth in advertising, and support of the respiratory profession. The AARC Zenith Award, which is presented to only five companies out of more than 400, is a way for AARC members to recognize manufacturers and service organizations that have done outstanding work for them and their employers.
"We are proud that our ventilators have helped caregivers all over the world improve the quality of life for so many,” said Jim Hickey, President & CEO, Pulmonetic Systems, Inc. “We want to provide more than just products to our customers. That’s why we have continuously supported the respiratory field through training, continuing education, and assistance to professional organizations such as the American Association for Respiratory Care. It is a great honor to be recognized by the AARC members for these efforts."
